Ardbeg 24yo 1977/2001
This limited edition vintage expression of Ardbeg was distilled at the iconic Islay distillery in 1977 and matured for over two decades before being released in small batches between 2001-2004. This expression was released just a few years after the distillery was saved by Glenmoangie buying them in 1997.

A perfectly balanced whiskey between fruit, sweetness and a very intense smoky aroma, milk chocolate, cappuccin, coffee, toffee fudge and yet a little maritime.
Soft and round but complex peat with finely tart tangerines, milk chocolate with cocoa cream filling, caramel, dark fruits as well as leather and tobacco, slightly smoky and maritime.
Very long smoky taste with wood smoke, cocoa and orange fruits, chocolate, mocha and finely spiced tobacco.
