Terms and Conditions

It is our endeavour to always serve you to your complete satisfaction. This includes our fair business conditions.

Minimum age requirement

According to Swiss alcohol law, you must be at least 18 years old to order spirits and other distilled beverages with an alcohol content of more than 15% by volume. With your order you accept our terms and conditions and at the same time confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

Terms of delivery

The articles offered are usually in stock, so that we can supply you promptly. Should an article not be available in our shop, we will indicate ensure the item is appropriately indicated in a timely fashion. Rare whiskies can have longer waiting times or even delivery stops. If this is the case, we would of inform you if we can deliver and by when.

Guarantee

We only deliver products in original brand quality and original packaging. Some rare and old vintage bottles may show some signs of age.

Prices

For deliveries abroad, the customer will first receive a detailed offer, whereby Swiss VAT will be deducted from the valid price. VAT and customs duties of the receiving country within Europe will be borne by the customer, but will be invoiced by Brown Spirit and settled with the carrier. In the case of overseas destinations, only the transport will be invoiced. The customs authorities will contact the buyer directly regarding the payment of the VAT and the customs fees. Once the buyer pays, the package will be sent to the delivery address (CIF delivery).

Delivery

The delivery will be made by post or by courier service.

Method of payment

Payment in Switzerland is made by credit card (only credit cards issued in Switzerland are accepted) or postal account, by advance payment or cash on delivery. In all other countries it is only possible to pay in advance by bank transfer. Unauthorised deductions will be carried by the buyer.

Shipping costs

For deliveries within Switzerland, we charge a flat rate of CHF 9.– up to an order value of CHF 500.–, above this value the delivery is free of charge.

Partial deliveries

If only a partial delivery is possible, we would consult you regarding your shipping preferences.

Return policy

A return of a purchased product is only possible in case of wrong deliveries or product defects. Corresponding defects must be reported immediately. In any case, only articles in original packaging (in case of wrong delivery) and with a copy of the delivery note or invoice will be taken back.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

All legal relations between the customers and the Brown Spirit are exclusively subject to Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is exclusively Zurich.
